Yes, it would be my pleasure.

I recommended that you contact me well in advance of your date or as soon as you decided that you are using Calligraphy. It’s important to remember that your invitations need to posted between 2 months and 6 weeks before the date of your wedding.

It is best to:

  • Make sure you have all your guest names listed clearly and with their address.
  • Double and tripled checked all your guests details like the spelling of their names and their addresses before the list is emailed to me. You will have a chance to make changes before I start scribing.
  • Ensure that you have plenty of spare stationery. I suggest between 15 – 20% extra. For example, if you have 100 invitations order 115 – 120. Everything is written by hand, things like ink splashes can happen.

Allow plenty of time for:

  • The time it takes to complete your invitation and envelope calligraphy will depend on the number of guests. I will let you know how long your calligraphy will take once we’ve nailed down the numbers.
  • Delivery to me and back to you. If you are local, you can drop your stationery to me and pick it up. Otherwise, my preferred method of delivery is An Post Express Post. Tracked and requires a signature upon delivery for national and international orders.

Send me your enquiry and let’s get started.

Yes, I do.

PRICE LIST

It’s never really too late. I’ll always try to accommodate rush orders. It normally means that I have to juggle my bookings around to slot you in. But, as long as I can still meet my existing customer’s deadlines, I’m happy to help. Please be aware that rush orders do mean there will be an additional charge of 50%–75% incurred. If I can’t accommodate you, I will refer you to another calligrapher who I trust to look after you.

The earlier, the better. Calligraphy is an artistic craft. It requires focus and patience. Everything I create is done with care. My calendar has been known to be fully booked, especially coming up to the wedding and holiday seasons, celebrations and events. So, the earlier you are booked in, the better it is for you and me. It allows me to make sure that I have allocated enough time for your commission. I don’t like to rush but I will always accommodate you if you haven’t left enough time. (See: Have I left it too late?)

Did you stop at this question because you are getting married or organising an event?

Then you will probably want to know how long it will take me to inscribe your invitations, envelopes and/or place cards. I normally allow ten days to two weeks for a small to average wedding. It’s always best to contact me ahead of time. That way, I can make sure I serve you the best.

Every customer’s needs are individual, so it is difficult to answer this question. The best thing to do is contact me, I’m more than happy to chat with you about what your needs are. After which, I will tailor a quote for you.

Yes, absolutely! Please feel free to contact me and let’s start exploring.

Each customer’s requirements are different. We will normally establish the timeline during our first conversation.

In general, to inscribe guest names on invitations and envelopes for an intimate small wedding or event, I would allow a week to 10 days. For the larger weddings, I’d allow 2 weeks or more. Whereas, artwork takes longer. It’s always best to get in contact with me as soon as you can and allow me as much time as you can.

I work closely with my customers. We begin our journey together the moment you connect with me. Whether it’s designing stationery, creating a piece of calligraphy art or inscribing your guest names on your invitations, envelopes and place cards.

For me, my service is as important as what I create for you. Once I have started your commission, you will receive regular updates from me.

I always find that past customer experience is the best way to give you an idea of the process of working with me.
